Ezify: FBR-Ready Invoicing That Gets Businesses Paid Faster

“Developed an invoicing platform for Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE that creates tax invoices, submits them to FBR Digital Invoicing in one click and delivers them to clients on WhatsApp.”

Ezify: FBR-Ready Invoicing That Gets Businesses Paid Faster

1. Project Background

Ezify is a Syntrix Systems product for owners, accountants and sales teams who want invoices out the door without the weight of an ERP. It was designed first for businesses in Pakistan, where tax invoices have to be reported to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and it also supports VAT-ready invoicing for Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

2. The Challenge

Many small and mid-sized businesses still build invoices in spreadsheets, calculate Sales Tax by hand, re-enter the same data into the FBR portal and then chase payments by phone. Each step is slow and error-prone: a wrong HS code, unit or tax rate can cause a rejected submission. Clients also tend to ignore emailed PDFs, which delays payment. The challenge was to bring quoting, invoicing, tax submission and payment follow-up into one simple app that a non-accountant could use every day.

3. Our Solution & Approach

We built Ezify as a multi-company invoicing platform with FBR Digital Invoicing at its core. Users connect their own FBR token, validate an invoice before submitting it, test in the FBR sandbox and then switch safely to production. The FBR invoice number, QR code and logo are printed on the PDF automatically. A Pakistan tax pack calculates Sales Tax, reduced and zero rates, Further Tax, FED and withholding, with NTN, STRN and CNIC checks. Around this core, Ezify offers quotes that convert to invoices, partial or full payments and receipts, recurring invoices, a client and product catalogue, an expense dashboard and billing in PKR, SAR, AED and USD. Invoices can be sent on WhatsApp, either as a secure link from the user's own phone or from a WhatsApp Business number with the message history logged on the invoice. Quotes can be approved online with a one-time code or signed through Documenso, and signed documents can be kept in the customer's own S3, Cloudflare R2 or MinIO storage. Security includes two-factor sign-in, roles for teams, isolated company data, encrypted tax and plugin keys, daily backups and Cloudflare protection.

4. The Results & Impact

Ezify is live and offers a 14-day free trial with no card required, on simple monthly or yearly plans priced in PKR. Businesses create an invoice once, submit it to FBR from the same screen and send it where clients actually read it. Owners see revenue, unpaid invoices and expenses at a glance, and teams with several businesses switch between companies with one login. Because FBR submission, tax calculation and delivery are part of the invoice flow, the time spent on separate portals and manual follow-up shrinks.
