Real Estate Management App: Owner and Employee Operations for a Karachi Property Company
“Building a two-sided mobile app that centralizes properties, deals, tasks and automatic commission tracking for a Karachi real estate company and its sales staff.”

1. Project Background
This mobile app is a client project for a real estate company operating in Karachi. The company managed properties, deals, referrals and staff performance manually, with no central record, no clear view of who sourced a deal and no digital way to assign work to employees. We are building a single app that serves both the owner and the sales team.
2. The Challenge
Without a system of record, the owner had no transparency into commission splits or into whether a deal came directly from a property owner or through an agent. Employees tracked their visits and follow-ups informally, and there was no easy way to see which staff were performing. The solution had to give the owner full control and visibility while keeping the employee experience light enough to use between property visits, and it had to be easy to reconfigure without code changes.
3. Our Solution & Approach
We designed a role-based app with one backend and two experiences. The Owner side offers a dashboard of properties by status, property management, deal records with direct-owner or agent-sourced tracking, task creation and assignment, an employee directory with performance stats, and a company-wide commission overview. The Employee side lets staff see their own tasks, update property status as available, rented or sold, log referrals and follow their personal commission and performance. A configurable approval flow can route employee updates to the owner before they become final, and only approved deals count toward commission totals. The app is built with React Native, Expo and Expo Router, backed by an Express API with JWT authentication, and key behavior such as approvals, the default commission rate and branding is driven by environment settings.
4. The Results & Impact
The app is under active development. Once rolled out, the owner gets one real-time view of the property pipeline, deals and employee performance, commissions are calculated per employee and per deal instead of by hand, and staff get a simple way to manage their day and see what they have earned. Because the approval flow, roles and branding are configurable, the same foundation can be adapted for other real estate teams later.
